CV Axle Repair and Replacement
The CV Boot(s) are the protective coverings which contain grease to lubricate the constant velocity joints (drive axles). Replacing the CV Boot(s) will prevent further CV joint damage and can reduce “clicking” noise if present when turning. The CV Shaft(s) transfer power from the trans-axle to the front wheels on a front-wheel drive vehicle. Replacing the CV shaft will reduce clicking noise (if present) when turning vehicle; ensure proper steering, handling and power transfer.
