It has been quite the year for Ram. It seems like the brand can't stop racking up the accolades, and it recently received another honor that speaks to the quality of its trucks.
AutoPacific named Ram Truck as its "Most Ideal Popular Brand" in the 2013 Ideal Vehicle Awards. The ratings are based on owners' ratings of cars and trucks from the 2013 model year, which include everything from acceleration, vehicle maintenance and safety features to what they would change about the automobile. Ram achieved high scores in all categories, with many drivers saying that they wouldn't change much about their 2013 Ram trucks.
"For any business, positive recognition from customers is the ultimate compliment and we take their input very seriously," said Reid Bigland, head of U.S. sales for the Chrysler Group. "We're proud to say that Chrysler Group is delivering the most of what consumers are looking for."
Ram Truck wasn't the only Chrysler brand honored by the Ideal Vehicle Awards. The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country and the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee also received recognition as the "Most Ideal Minivan" and "Most Ideal Midsize SUV," respectively.
