The Volvo C30 will be hitting showrooms in November, but the 2013 Volvo C30 Polestar Limited Edition is another story. Polestar, the official performance partner of Volvo, will offer various upgrades to make the special model a high-performing machine.
Only 250 Polestar models will be made available in the United States, with production beginning in October. The main difference between the Limited Edition and the regular Volvo C30 will be the engine's capabilities. A 250 horsepower engine has a 23 horsepower advantage over the standard model, and the 273 lb-ft of torque is an increase of 37 lb-ft.
According to Motor Authority, the Limited Edition will feature the same fuel economy, but various style elements will be changed. The 17-inch tires will have a black-matte finish and accent the Rebel Blue paint job. On the inside, a sunroof, LED headlights, push button start and customized sound or navigation systems will set the Limited Edition apart from the standard model.
Prices for the C30 Polestar will start at $32,445. Volvo lovers will only have a short amount of time to take advantage of the Limited Edition, as the 250 vehicles are sure to go quickly.
