Nissan prepares to help out shoppers on Black Friday

November 21, 2012 12:00 AM

Black Friday is right around the corner, and Nissan is doing its part to give shoppers the most comfortable experience possible. The automaker will be using some of its models to provide warm shelter and comfort to the masses who are heading out for the best deals in the early hours of the morning.

Shoppers in the Denver area will be able to take refuge in 2013 Nissan Altima sedans or a Nissan Quest minivan that is set to patrol the area near a city mall. In addition to offering the respite from the cold, Nissan will also have members of its street team available to hold places in line for customers taking advantage of the cars and the company will be giving out hand warmers, blankets and hot beverages.

"Both the Altima and Quest are equipped with segment-leading innovations, heated seats and plenty of cargo room - making them the perfect match to assist fatigued shoppers," said Jon Brancheau, vice president of marketing for Nissan North America. "Improving the shopping experience for Denver consumers on Black Friday is a great opportunity to expose people to Nissan's innovative products first-hand."

While the service won't be able to help shoppers score great deals on new cars or auto repair, it should be a welcome sight for some of the cold customers on Friday.
