A video web series highlighting the importance of car care is scheduled to be released by the Car Care Council throughout the fall.
Titled "Auto Service and Repair: What to Expect," the videos provide auto information for consumers. Four videos have already been released, with topics focusing on finding the right repair shops and the proper way to communicate with car professionals.
"The goal of the Car Care Clips is to give consumers a behind-the-scenes look at the repair shop experience to help calm the anxiety that many consumers feel when taking their vehicles to an auto repair shop so they don't postpone necessary maintenance and repairs," said Rich White, an executive director at Car Care Council.
The series will have segments covering topics such as preventative maintenance, buying the right part, and paying for diagnostics. The council has previously released videos introducing drivers to the car repair business and informing them of what to expect when they bring a car in for a tune up.
September 25 will be the airdate for the first of four episodes. Clips will be released every two weeks, with the final premiering on November 6. These segments will be available on several of the organizations social media pages.
