Some car fanatics are probably filled with anticipation for the upcoming installment from the "Fast & Furious" franchise. The sixth film is set to feature to the same action-packed sequences that made the first five movies hits, as well as the top-notch automobiles that audiences have come to expect.
Moviegoers will have to keep their eyes peeled for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The Italian company recently started promoting the car's appearance in "Fast & Furious 6," launching a series of print advertisements and television commercials throughout Italy.
Although the Alfa Romeo Giulietta hasn't been available in the U.S. for decades, its parent company, Fiat, is attempting to bring it back, Automotive.com reports. Any models on sale in the Americas in the near future won't be much like the ones featured in the movie, however. Those Alfas were completely modified to fit the movie and aren't being sold in Europe, at least as of yet, Motortrend reports.
If "Fast & Furious 6" takes off - and the damage and auto repair that's likely headed its way in the film doesn't scare drivers away - the Alfa Romeo Giulietta could be making appearances around the globe sooner rather than later.
