It may still be 2012, but several automakers have already made announcements regarding brand new 2014 models. The show, which is set for November 28 and 29, will offer the first look at a number of new models, some of which will be updated versions of popular automobiles that have gotten a tune up and various upgrades.
"The festivities don't begin until the turkey leftovers are gone, but we've already started mounting our full-coverage assault on the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show," said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director for Kelley Blue Book. "The roster of new faces at the first North American event of the new season promises to be formidable once again this year, and includes at least 20 world debuts along with a similar number of vehicles set to make their first appearance in U.S. trim."
Auto enthusiasts can look forward to the 2014 models of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, Subaru Forester, Kia Forte, Kia Sorento, Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid, Honda Civic, Volkswagen Beetle and Lamborghini Aventador, all of which will have some kind of presence at the L.A. Auto Show. While a few complete 2014 models will be on display, others will only be teased in an effort to maintain an aura of mystery around the highly anticipated cars.
